The Nhow Hotel provided us with an opportunity to respond to their existing corporate graphic identity and interior design concepts to create 25 audiovisual scapes for the wall which serves as an important intersecting point of visual axes: the main entrance, lobby, bar, dining areas and the river.
We wanted the audiovisual scapes to be sensitive to the activities taking place in the everyday life of the hotel while gently engaging and activating the space. With the open view of the constantly flowing river reminding the visitor of a natural pulse to Berlin, and the interior design concept inspiring an organic form and flow, the audio visual concept is a way to elevate this consciousness.
The visual language is composed of Nhow's vibrant color palette and a symphony of splines and fluid shapes. The movement is designed to mimic the natural ebb and flow of the water thereby giving the viewer an opportunity to sense a different passage of time. The sound concept is derived from delicate natural sounds designed to soothe and bring comfort to the listener. |
